Roland I Young DDS, Inc.

A health practitioner with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Young graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1980, after majoring in clinical lab technology at Sacramento State University. While at Georgetown Dental School, Dr. Young earned the following awards and honors:

Graduated Magna cum Laude
Morris M. Horrowitz award for scholastic achievement (given to the most outstanding senior dental student).
Omicron Kappa Upsilon- induction into this dental honor society
Dentsply International Award for distinction in complete denture prosthetics

Dr. Young completed his specialty training at University Medical Center in Fresno, California in 1984. After prior affiliations, Dr. Young opened his solo practice in Modesto where he has been since 1994. He is certified in advanced cardiac life support.

Dr. Frederick J.Mantz graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a Master Degree awarded from Loma Linda University. He established a private practice and served this community for many years. He had the highest respect of his friends and colleagues and he initiated many advanced procedures in this area.

Dr. Mantz has additionally given of his time for the last 5 years teaching part time at UCSF School of Dentistry as an assistant clinical professor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. He is married to Beverly, his lovely wife of many years. They have raised 3 children who have each gone on to their own successful professions.

Dr. Young's staff of trained professionals are ready to answer any questions about oral surgery. We are here to help you with all of your pre and post operative oral surgery needs.

Linda - Office Manager
The office manager is our team leader, responsible for overseeing all office functions. She assists our patients with their insurance and financial concerns. She supervises and coordinates all financial aspects of our practice and will work with you on all of your insurance-related issues, including claims, predeterminations of benefits, and account reconciliation.

Linda - Receptionist
Our receptionist serves as the scheduling coordinator. She is the first person our patient encounters when contacting our practice, both by telephone and in person. She will help coordinate all your appointments, assist you on the telephone, and greet you on your arrival in our office.

Benita, Merissa, Kailei, Stacy - Oral Surgery Assistants
Our three oral surgery assistants are specially trained to assist Dr. Young with direct patient care both in our office surgical suites and in the hospital operating room. They supervise all clinical aspects of the practice. They perform x-ray examinations, digital imaging, and many more oral surgery assistant duties. All are certified oral surgical assistants by the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
