As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Young has earned an advanced specialist degree by completing four years of in hospital training after completing dental school in 1980. Your dentist has referred you to us so that you will receive the specialty care you deserve.

We have made a commitment to work with your family dentist to provide you with the highest quality care. We recognize the importance of good communication between doctors. We make every effort to insure that your dentist is informed of your treatment at all times. Often treatment plans require close consultation and planning with your dentist.

Dr. Young has privileges to admit patients to local hospitals (Doctors Medical Center and Memorial Hospital). Dr. Young can admit patients to these hospitals for those certain health conditions or surgeries that require such care.

Dr. Young has had extensive training in outpatient anesthesia and techniques that allow him to provide IV sedation or general anesthesia necessary. Your comfort is a top priority, so we offer these services in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Because Dr. Young has a combined medical and dental background, he is able to manage complex medical problems and surgical cases.
